The Senate has declared its readiness to
strengthen the laws empowering the Public
Complaint Commission to ensure accountability
in public service. This was one of the assurances
given to principal officers of the Commission, led
by the Chairman, Emmanuel Ogbile by the
leadership of the senate.
Senate President, Bukola Saraki argued that the commission had not done enough in its forty years of existence to resolve the numerous cases of administrative complaints and petitions brought before it. That was after the commission chairman had complained that Nigerian were not taken the government agency serious.
