Senate Urges CBN, Commercial Banks To Step Up Campaign In Rural Areas

The Senate wants the Central Bank and other commercial banks to carry out awareness campaigns on the importance of the biometric verification number in rural areas. Senators took this position after deliberations on a motion by deputy minority whip Senator Biodun Olujimi on the dangers posed to rural dwellers by the exercise.
