Nigerians of what
he described as
robust security
throughout the
period of Eid el
Kabir. He has
specifically ordered
a tight security
cordon around EID
grounds and other
places of worship
and recreational
areas.
Police spokesperson Olabisi Kolawole said in a statement that the IG has ordered effective and extensive deployment of personnel including movement of necessary logistics to all nooks and crannies of the Country. He has equally mandated all Assistant Inspectors – General of Police and Command Commissioners of Police to ensure adequate security with standard operation procedures before, during and after the celebrations.
