OFFICIAL: Lucas Silva Joins Marseille

The midfielder will spend this season on loan with the Ligue 1 club after failing to break into Real Madrid's first team Real Madrid midfielder Lucas Silva has joined Marseille on a one-year loan deal. The 22-year-old only joined Madrid from Cruzeiro in January but made just eight appearances last season as he failed to break the midfield partnership of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos.
A statement on the Spanish club's official website said: "Real Madrid and Marseille have agreed the transfer of the player Lucas Silva until June 30, 2016.
