The holiday was declared in view of the large number of candidates which has compelled the institution to split the candidates into two groups. According to a special bulletin of the Institution signed by its Registrar, Mr Olujimi Olukoya, lecturers, students and workers not participating in the examination were directed to stay away from the campus. According to Olukoya, vehicular restriction will be applied in designated areas while identification cards have been given to those officially assigned to work during the examinations.
