Senator Sola Adeyeye yesterday has assumed office as the
Senate Chief whip three months after the
inauguration of the National Assembly. This was
after the South west caucus of the All
progressives Congress sent in a letter endorsing
him for the position.
He was the party’s choice for the position but did not take his seat at the time other principal officials from the APC were named. Senator Adeyeye is the only out of the four endorsed by the party leaders which the senate leadership found acceptable.
