Taraba state Governor Darius Ishaku has
granted state pardon to twelve prisoners in
commemoration of the Nation’s 55th
Independence anniversary.
He disclosed this during a state wide Independent day broadcast where he also announced a low key celebration. This according to Governor Ishaku is as a result of the death of Kpanti Zing Abbas Sambo and other Nigerians during the recent Hajj stampede in Mina, Saudi Arabia.
