Four Female suicide bombers lost their lives in a failed
attempt to bomb Dala Yazaram community in Maiduguri
today. This comes barely 24 hours after 55 people were killed
in separate suicide bomb attacks in Maiduguri in Borno state
and Yola in Adamawa state.
Eyewitnesses say four female suicide bombers made an
attempt to attack the area but one of them was arrested
before she detonated the bomb on her. She later died. “Three
people have been killed and many injured. One of the
terrorists was arrested before she could detonate,” resident
Shuaibu Umara, a security guard at a nearby NNPC petrol
station, told AFP.
