N465m Fraud- Two Remanded In Kirikiri Prison

A Lagos High Court in Ikeja yesterday remanded in Kirikiri Maximum Prison two men, Alhaji Yerima Suleiman and Uwem Essien Antia, for allegedly obtaining N465 million by
false pretence, from two persons, Dennis Ale and Aginwa Gladys. The duo were arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on a four-count charge bordering on conspiracy to obtain money by false pretence, conspiracy to forge and forgery. According to the charge, Suleiman and Antia, with a fraudulent intent, conspired to commit felony, to wit: forgery of acknowledgment of receipt dated February 6, 2015.
