Senate President Bukola Saraki has described as
frivolous the13 count charge of false and
anticipatory declaration of assets leveled against
him by the Code of Conduct bureau.
He was speaking on the sidelines of a courtesy visit by commissioners from the Public Complaint commission yesterday Wednesday. The Senate President was said to have contravened sections of the 1999 constitution, as well as those of the Code of Conduct Bureau in 2003 But he insists that he did not falsely declare his assets when he was governor of Kwara state.
