Senate President Denies Dumping APC

President of the Senate Bukola Saraki has denied suggestions that he is set to defect from the All Progressives Congress following his ongoing travails over a 13-count charge bordering on false declaration of assets. There had been rumours that he is on the verge of dumping the party after he removed APC from his Twitter account.
But the senate President on sunday laid the controversy to rest by tweeting that he remains a card carrying member the party. He also noted that he was honoured to serve as Senate President of all Senators.
