OFFICIAL: Inter Milan Confirm Ljajic Signing

The Nerazzurri have completed their deadline day move for the Serbian, who leaves the Stadio Olimpico two years after joining from Fiorentina. Inter have confirmed Roma attacking midfielder Adem Ljajic has signed for the club in the final hour of Serie A's deadline day. It had been reported in Italy that the Serbia international, 23, was set to join the Nerazzurri on a season-long loan for €2 million with an option for his new club to purchase for an additional €9m in 2016.
And with fewer than 60 minutes to go until the transfer window snapped shut for the summer, Inter announced Ljajic's arrival. "Inter can officially announce the arrival of attacker Adem Ljajic from Roma on loan with the option to purchase in 2016," the club said in a statement on their website. "The player is welcomed by the whole club." Adem #Ljajić è nerazzurro! Niente è come esserci http://t.co/c4r7r6Mvgv #WelcomeLjajic #FCIM pic.twitter.com/hORbXYQhg1 — F.C. Internazionale (@Inter) August 31, 2015 Ljajic has spent two seasons at the Stadio Olimpico side but failed to truly make his mark on Rudi Garcia's XI since his €11 million signing on a four-year contract in August 2013. The ex-Fiorentina star looks set to join midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia, winger Ivan Perisic, defenders Jeison Murillo and Miranda, striker Stevan Jovetic and utility man Martin Montoya as Inter signings. Inter have started their season with back-to-back wins in Serie A, leaving them third behind Chievo and Torino after two matches.
