President Muhammadu Buhari’s recent appointment into his cabinet has also started to generate divergent reactions among legal practitioners.
Many have accused Buhari of not sticking to federal character in his appointment while others say he has the prerogative power to appoint anyone.
Almost as soon as the latest appointments by President Buhari were announced,they were expressions of shock from individuals and groups for several reasons. There are others who are confident that the president will consider other geopolitical zones especially on his ministerial appointment. They asked Nigerians to have faith in Buhari administration while noting that what matters most is delivering on electoral promises and not who he appoints into office.
