Reports this morning have revealed that a suicide bomber struck at a busy area in Damaturu, the Yobe State capital this morning.
At least five people were killed from the explosion with more than 20 others injured.
Director of Media and Publicity to Yobe State Governor, Abdullahi Bego, confirmed that the dead have been evacuated to the mortuary while the injured victims are currently being
attended to by health and emergency workers.
Security personnel have cordoned the area.
