Governor Rochas plead with workers not to go on strike. Imo state governor Rochas okorocha is finally back in owerri from the US visit with Mr president, his excellency who arrived Sam Mbakwe air port in owerri did not exhitate to address the press on some of the pressing issues in the state.
The much concern governor said it has come to is notice that the workers in the state are planing on embacking on strike over the unending problem of unpaid salaries.He appeal to them not to take the strike action as an option that the state government is working out modalities to ensure all pending salaries are paid.Rochas call on them to remember the good days of the past four years where the state government has been consistence in payment of salaries.Local government workers who rejected their salaries because they weregiven cheches was also a thing of concern to Rochas, he called on them to collect the cheche that the mode is use in order to avoid any flow play, he as well call on the entire Imo people to be patriotic at this critical point in time that the state government is trying it best to build the state for good.
