Man killed by lover’s son

A middle-aged man, whose name was given as Osayande Edoigiawerie, was allegedly stabbed to death by his lover’s son at Zabayor Street, Benin, Monday night. Edoigiawerie was said to have gone to his lover’s to have his dinner when the son of the woman, who is now on the run, attacked him with a dagger.
The mother of the assailant was said to have raised alarm, which attracted the people in the area to the scene. He was rushed to a nearby clinic, where he was confirmed dead. Contacted, State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Stephen Onwuchei said he was yet to be informed of the incident.
