Suicide Bomber Attacks Cow Market In Maiduguri

Reports just reaching us indicate that a suicide bomber suspected to be Boko Haram member attacked Maiduguri again. A bomb blast hit a popular market killing an unspecified number of people on June 6, Saturday. According to a security source the incident happened around 4:10pm.
“The attack happened at a place called cow market and many people are expected to be involved because the market is usually busy,” he said. The source added that the incident occured when it was raining. Gideon Jibrin, the police public relations officer in the state, is yet to confirmed the incident. Maiduguri, the biggest city in north-east Nigeria, has been attacked many times over the past six years. The latest bombing at the Moru-Moru market in the Gamboru areacame days after newly elected President Muhammadu Buhari declared it would relocate military headquartersfrom Abuja to Maiduguri. Borno, Yobe and Adamawa are the Nigerian states worstly hit by deadly Boko Haram sect.
